Our deliverer-Yulian

  Our deliverer Well, to begin with, in Rionegro there is a statue the Jose Maria Cordoba in the park central. This statue represents liberty, hope and breaking of chains that symbolize oppressions to people of the town in Rionegro. This statue is considered a monument historic and a legacy of our ancestors. I think that is representative figure is very important for our knowing like persons and citizens in Rionegro. On the other hand, I always that walking for the principal park, I look the statue and remember the important that was Jose Maria Cordoba for the town. Besides that, I enjoy see that sculpture because that statue symbolizes our liberty, and this very well done   Sculptor: Rodrigo Arenas Bentancur

JOSE MARÍA CÓRDOVA STATUE- Mateo

  JOSE MARÍA CÓRDOVA STATUE San Antonio De Pereira – Rionegro Antioquia   Whit that gallant statue of our Simón Bolivar Paisa as his ancestors call him. Was in born in concepción, at that time parto f Rionegro. It is in that place where his family had moved 10 years before when he was named. Son of Crisanto de Córdova y Mesa, a small merchant active in Eastern Antioquia, who had also been a Petty mayor and factory Butler, and Pascual Muñoz Castrillón, the couple had four other children: Salvador, Vicente, Venancia and Mercedes. Later, his family moved to San Vicente and, later, to Rionegr. Córdova in his chilhood only had the basic education of the time and that of accompanying his father on business trip. He was a Colombian military man who participed in the war of Independence in Colombia, Perú and Bolivia. During the, he served in the tropos of Emmanuel Serviez, José Antonio Páez, Simón Bolívar and Antonio José de Sucre. He is know as the hero of Ayacucho for his perfomanc

Daniel - San Pedro Claver

 San Pedro Claver Location: Cartagena  This sculpture is the reason for this count and that is why it is worth starting the tour of it. This 2.20 meter high platinum bronze work represents the saint known as "the slave of the slaves" and although the first intention of his elaboration of data from 1985, it was until 1994 when the master Enrique Grau decided to get down to business in a task that would end in 1998 with the piece that represents the saint walking the streets in the company of a slave. Due to the nature of the representation, the artist decided that the work was not on a pedestal but was at ground level, blending in with pedestrians.

Olmer-La Danta is a town

 La Danta is a town in Sonsón in Antioquia, recognized for the extraction and use of marble and its beautiful natural reserves and caves.  In the central park of this town there is a sculpture carved in Marble, which represents the main source of economic income for the inhabitants of the region, and is the extraction of marble;  The representative figure is a tapir or tapir, which is a terrestrial mammal that inhabited the mountains of that area for a long time, and thanks to this mammal it owes its name to this town.

Camila Serna(Cerro de los Cristales )

 Cristo rey is a statue 26 meters tall located in the Cerro de los Cristales (Hill of the Crystals) in the village of Los Andes, west of the city of Cali, Valle del Cauca, Colombia. The hill is so named because of the large amount of quartz that could be collected in the surrounding area.It was inaugurated for the fifty years of peace after the thousand day war.

 Monument To The Old Shoes This monument is a tribute to the satirical poet from Cartagena Luis Carlos Lopez, called "El Tuerto", one of the greatest poets of the city, and to his most popular work, "A mi ciudad nativa" (To my native city). This sculpture is also known as Las Botas Viejas, and is located at the back of the San Felipe de Barajas castle. Before its current location, the monument, the work of Tito Lombana, was near the Getsemaní neighborhood from where it was moved due to the construction of the Heredia Bridge.

Manuela Ríos Pérez

This monument is a representation of the history of Violence in Sonsón. It is located in the "La Pinera" recreational park. Made to commemorate the young people who died in the armed conflict.  This monument made of iron shows us the strength of the families that were left incomplete, the friendly hands that hold the hearts of those who were left desolate.
